Ash joined the AKH herd in 2017 as our first Brabant stud. He was selected for import as a weanling and is everything that folks envision when they think 'Brabant'- kind, calm, gorgeous and stout. We started him in harness and even as a stud he can be harnessed alongside mares or other stallions. Ash gets a lot of time in the woods over the winter since most of the mares are pregnant and he earns his keep pulling logs as well as producing foals.
