Join us online for the EBRA Virtual Horse Show Watch Party on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST, where we'll celebrate our exhibitors and announce results together! We can't wait to see your European Brabants, crosses, and mules in action. Good luck, have fun, and start filming!

It's completely FREE to enter! 🎉

To participate, you simply need to be an EBRA Member — you do not need to live in North America, and you don't need to own an EBRA-registered horse to become a Member.

In fact, your horse does not need to be registered with the EBRA to compete in the Virtual Horse Show.

HALTER

Horses are shown in hand and judged on conformation, structural correctness, breed character, and how closely they match the European Brabant standard. This class highlights each horse's quality as a breeding prospect and representative of the breed.

SHOWMANSHIP

In this in-hand class, the handler—not the horse—is judged. Exhibitors are evaluated on grooming, presentation, ring presence, and their ability to precisely maneuver their horse through a designated pattern.

LIBERTY

Horses are showcased freely and untethered in an arena, paddock, or pasture. Judges evaluate freedom of movement, soundness, expression, and willingness to move forward while demonstrating the walk, trot, and canter.

TRAIL

Horses are evaluated on their ability to safely and confidently navigate obstacles under saddle, in hand, ground driven, or hitched. Judges score manners, willingness, responsiveness, and precise footwork rather than speed, rewarding horses that calmly and thoughtfully work through each challenge.

LOG SKIDDING

This class showcases a horse's strength, responsiveness, and teamwork as they safely pull a log through a timed obstacle course. Judges evaluate control, precision, manners, and the horse's ability to calmly navigate turns and obstacles while working in harness.

PLEASURE DRIVING

This class highlights a horse's manners, responsiveness, and suitability as a safe, enjoyable driving partner. Judges evaluate turnout, obedience, way of going, and overall presentation, rewarding horses that are calm, willing, and comfortable to drive at the walk, trot, and road trot.

PLEASURE RIDING

This class showcases a horse's manners, responsiveness, and smooth, comfortable way of going. Judges look for relaxed movement, steady cadence, prompt transitions, and a willing attitude, rewarding horses that are truly a pleasure to ride.

TRADITIONAL BRAIDING

Celebrate the rich heritage of the European Brabant by presenting your horse in traditional Dutch and Belgian-style braids, yarn, and raffia. Judges look for creativity, craftsmanship, and overall presentation while honoring the breed's historic show traditions.

📅 Don’t forget: all submissions must be completed by November 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST, and our Virtual Show Watch Party will be held on December 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST online.
